On the morning of November 15, 2019, the 15th Architecture Day activity of architecture school of Chang 'an university has opened in the square in front of Yifu library of Weishui campus of Chang 'an University.

The theme of this year's Architecture Day is "12 Two-hour Periods in Chang'an” （In ancient China, a whole day is divided into twelve units, each unit is equal to two hours in today）. Each class has its own specific temporal theme. Through the understanding of temporal theme, students build a series of works combining time and space, aiming to stimulate creative thinking.
At the opening ceremony, teacher Liu Peng briefly introduced to the guests, teachers and students the development track of Architecture Day, which has a history of 26 years since 1993. Teacher Liu introduced the practice of combining student activities and practical teaching in the school of architecture. He pointed out that the theme of this activity, "12 Two-hour Periods in Chang'an ", not only recalls the powerful nation in the prosperous Tang dynasty, but also reflects the customs of Chang 'an University in different periods. 12 Two-hour Periods have 12 kinds of mirror images, 12 kinds of colors and 12 kinds of perception. Students are given the freedom to create works based on the selected temporal theme.
Wu Lian, Dean of the Architecture School, has reviewed the development course of Architecture Day activity. He stressed that this activity is a good opportunity to exercise students' thinking ability and creativity, and it is also an important platform for communication and interaction between students and teachers. He expressed his appreciation for the achievements of this Architecture Day and wished the event a complete success.
