In order to implement the strategic deployment of "Accelerating digital development and building Digital China" in the national "14th 5-Year Plan", the 9th National BIM Graduation Design Innovation Competition organized by the Construction Market and Bidding Research Branch of China Civil Engineering Society and Guanglida Technology Co., LTD., co-organized by Zhongguancun Digital Building Green Development Alliance, supported by several universities including Tongji University, Hunan University, Central South University, Chang 'an University and the International Alliance of Architecture Universities of the Belt and Road Initiative was launched in October 2022. Based on the domestic BIM architectural design platform, the competition aims at the elaboration and refinement of architectural design schemes, the construction and deepening of architectural models in the form of BIM forward design, and the generation of effect drawings and two-dimensional building construction drawings by architectural models.
As one of the largest and most professional college architecture professional competitions in China, the event has been selected into the "College Student Competition Ranking" for three consecutive years, and has become the only BIM professional competition for college students in the country. After 8 months of competition, more than 4,000 works were submitted in the nationwide online competition stage. Through the online comprehensive scores of more than 910 college and enterprise experts, the national first prize, second prize, third prize and excellence award works were selected, and a total of 419 teams from across the country were promoted to the finals defense in June 2023 to compete for the national special prize awards.
A total of two teams from the School of Architecture of Chang 'an University participated in the H Module - Architectural Design BIM Application Innovation Module competition, and won one special prize and one second prize.
The honor certificates
The Architecture School attaches great importance to this competition. Under the leadership of Liu Qibo and Li Ling, the school organized and carried out the experience sharing meeting of the previous Grand prize winning teams in the early stage. In the middle stage of the competition, our school organized students to participate in BIM digital training and lectures offline. In the final stage, professors gave students in-depth guidance on software application, carefully polished the report draft for the final report, and finally won the special prize in this BIM graduation design innovation competition. Through this competition, the participants understand the importance of BIM digital design and the future development direction. BIM digital design can realize the information, intelligent and lean design, which can improve the quality and efficiency of architectural design and reduce the waste of resources in the design stage.
